New Article on Blairsden

The Historical Society of the Somerset Hills (THSSH) announces the online publication of Blairsden and the Blair Family by W. Barry Thomson. The article is a major new history of the Blair family and their country home in Peapack-Gladstone. The article includes many historic photographs showing family members and the building and design of the mansion.

Thomson is a life member of THSSH and a noted author and lecturer on architectural history. He is co-author, with the late John K. Turpin, of New Jersey Country Houses: The Somerset Hills, Volumes 1 and 2.
