Bernardsville Hockey Club, 1938-1939

The team was formed in October 1938, largely from former or current Bernards High students from Bernardsville and Bedminster who wished to participate in organized hockey.  The club joined the New Jersey Hockey League which had teams from Lake Hopatcong, Mt. Tabor, Rockaway, Morristown, and Fairfield.  The Bernardsville club went 5-7 during the 1938-39 season.  The players are identified on the back with letters that refer to the position played (W=wing, D=defense, C=center).
