CRUCIVERBALISM: THE ART OF SOLVING (& CREATING!) CROSSWORD PUZZLES
The presentation accompanies the newest exhibit in THSSH’s on-going series, “A Collector’s Cabinet,” which highlights local residents’ personal collections. Featured in the presentation will be history of crossword puzzles, facts about crossword themes, tips for solving, and research findings about the benefits of such “cranium challenges” as crossword puzzles.
The program is free to the public. Visitors arriving early to the lecture will have the opportunity to solve a New York Times daily puzzle from past years. Refreshments will be served. Those interested in the lecture and/or becoming a participant in “A Collector’s Cabinet” are asked to contact THSSH Trustee Meg Wastie at kitmeg@verizon.net.
