Known as the “the cockpit of the american revolution,” New Jersey is full of great stories from the american revolution. During what was the 2nd winter encampment in Morristown, and the 4th in New Jersey, the winter of 1780 was the worst winter of the war to that point. For some reason everyone thinks Valley Forge was the worst winter, yet it was Morristown and Jockey Hollow’s cold, snow, and disease filled winter that almost ended the war.  Troops needed to re-up for another year on December 31, 1779 and there was a huge uprising. The troops were going to leave and America’s future was in jeopardy. Yet with over 7,600 continental soldiers being frostbitten, tired, sick, and ready to abandon the effort, there was still time for a love story.

Come hear the story about America’s most eligible bachelor and bachelorette of the 18th Century and what the play Hamilton referred to as the Kardashian of the 1700s!

Join fans of Alexander Hamilton and local history for this one time event!
Football will be on the TV’s at the restaurant! (Jets at 1pm/Giants 4pm).
